We’re all about you, but in this section it’s a little bit about me!
Here are some common questions I get asked, if there’s anything you think I’ve missed just email me kelly[at]whitecrafts.com and I’ll add it in!
How long have you been doing what you do & why did you start White Crafts?
White Crafts was launched in 2008 and since then I’ve had the pleasure of working with hundreds of happy Brides (anyone who knows me, knows I always say that I get all the best brides)! I started White Crafts because I was pregnant with our first child and I didn’t want to go back to my corporate Events & Wedding management job, & with lots of support from the Mr, White Crafts (and our son) was born!
We love your Wedding Invites & on the day Wedding bits, & your brides say great things about you… but what really makes you different to other stationers?
Well obviously I rock!! No, really! With your wedding invitations I provide you with your own personalised wedding web page, this eliminates the need for lots of card inserts in your invitations (which not only increases the cost but makes your gorgeous invites full of ugly things) Directions, hotel information, taxi numbers etc. will no longer clog up your invites!!
If you’re running out of time or just have scruffy hand writing we can print your guests names in your invitations and their addresses on the envelopes, we even offer a postage and RSVP management service (just ask).
Plus you get individually handmade bespoke wedding invitations just for you!
You can also have your invitations in any language you need so far I’ve created invites in: Romanian, Welsh, French, German, Spanish and English of course. We also ship all across the UK and internationally; so far I’ve posted to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Dubai, Germany and all across England and Wales!
Want everything matching?
Can’t find what you’re looking for
Well just design your own girl!! Don’t worry I’ll help you, but you can choose your ribbons, your card colours your wording your sparkles whatever you want you can have, it is YOUR day after all!!
This all sounds awesome, but it also sounds expensive. Can we afford you?
We’re very competitively priced compared to others in this field. I have no prices on the website as we provide the personalised web page we thought it would be unfair for your guests to be able to see how much you spent on your gorgeous invitations! Also EVERY design is different, so every quote is different, but our prices are most certainly no secret so if you see a design you like, just drop me an email or pop round for a chat!
Who do you work best with?
Now this is a funny one that I’ve been asked twice (both Americans), but I thought I would throw it in here anyway! I think I work best with disorganised brides, so I can organise them and make sure they have all the information they need and in the time frames they need it (no point giving your reception your final numbers the day before the wedding)! Although this also works for the organised bride as they don’t have to worry, I know what I’m doing, and have all your wedding stationery in hand!
Who is not going to benefit from White Crafts products & help?
If you want to just buy off the peg then I’m probably not for you, I offer a personalised service, I give you help and advice and you can ask any questions any time. If you want letterpress invites then I’m probably not a good match for your wedding either.
Will you work with other suppliers I already have booked or want to use?
Yes of course we will, if you want to your wedding favours from the local bakers and you want personalised tags to go with them, I’ll have a chat with them and we’ll get it sorted for you. If you want the gems on your invitations on your cake or sew into your bridesmaid dresses, we’ll send some over for them. If your florist is designing an awesome piece of art for your centre pieces and you don’t want your table numbers to spoil the view, we’ll have a chat and together we’ll work out the best option for your wedding.
How do you accept payment, and do you have payment plans?
You can pay either by bank transfer, cash, or cheque. Debit & Credit Card payments can also be arranged as can Paypal payments (these incur a small additional charge). We can also set up a payment plan if this works better for you.
Once you’re decided that we’re the perfect match for you, you pay 50% of your Wedding Invitations & Evening Invitations up front (please note this is non refundable if you choose later to cancel, however this has never ever happened). The second 50% is due when your invitations have been completed. We then work out payment for your on the day stationery as and when you need it. Simples!
