12:30 pm Wedding Ceremony followed by photographs
2:00 pm Arrival and drinks reception at The Angel, Abergavenny
3:30 pm Wedding Breakfast served, followed by speeches
7:00 pm Evening reception begins
8:30 pm Evening Hog Roast opens

With your RSVP please state any other special dietary requirements you may have. Vegetarians will be contacted shortly.
There will be a coach transfer with capacity for 50 guests from Cwmbran (location to be confirmed) to Capel Ed for the ceremony, from Capel Ed to The Angel, Abergavenny and from The Angel, Abergavenny returning to Cwmbran after the reception.
The return cost will be £5.00 per couple and if you would like a seat please email josephandemily@whitecrafts.com with your details.

We would also be grateful if people could send any song suggestions for the evening reception to josephandemily@whitecrafts.com to ensure that every guest will join us for a dance at some point during the wedding.

Capel Ed


If you are arriving by car, you can use the postcode NP4 0AT in your ‘sat-nav’

Capel Ed can be found in the village of Goytre, which is situated in between Pontypool and Abergavenny on the A4042. If you are travelling from Pontypool towards Abergavenny, take a right turn in front of The Goytre Arms. If travelling from the opposite direction, the turn will be on the left. Thereafter, there will be signposts directing you to Capel Ed.

There is a mainline railway station, just South of the town, coming from London and Cardiff via Newport, and the North via Hereford. The railway station is a 10 – 15 minute walk from the hotel.

South of the town, the A4042 from Cardiff meets the A465 from the North and the A40 from the West. Coming into Abergavenny the main road turns right in front of the Angel. You can turn left by the side of the Hotel. At the top of the narrow lane go right and the car park entrance is immediately on the right.
The hotel car park is at the rear of the hotel. If full, use the large public car park opposite.

The A40 is our main approach road. Motorway standard, it links with the North-South dual-carriageway, 10 miles East. from the Midlands via Ross-on-Wye on the M50, or from London and the East, via the Severn bridges, on the M4 (junction 24).
