A wish tree is a wonderful Dutch custom that can be substituted for the traditional guest book.
Dutch custom says that at the wedding reception a beautiful tree branch is to be decorated with paper leaves attached to pieces of colourful ribbon.
Guests write their special wish for the happy couple on their leaves, which they then hang on the tree.
The tree has a wooden base and a silver trunk, out of which are an array of silver branches, each covered from base to tip in tiny gorgeous sparkling gems. With the tree we also provide you with a poem, explaining to your guests what they need to do.
This can also be used as a table seating plan instead of a wish tree if you wanted.
